SCOTT PARISI CHA, MANAGING PARTNER EcoGreenHotel - a veteran hospitality professional with over fifteen years experience with major hotel chains, such as Intercontinental, Starwood, Hilton and Choice Hotels. Parisi served as Vice President of Operations at New Generation Hospitality, assisting in the total operations of independent and franchised operations. Parisi also worked with Growth Properties Hospitality Management controlling twenty two properties in which he was responsible for all hotel operations. Parisi was also with GF Management for nine years in which the company grew from a small seven property management company to a top performing management company and real estate developer with over fifty properties. Parisi is proud to have been the General Manager of the United States first L.E.E.D. certified and "Environmentally Friendly" Hotel; the Sheraton Rittenhouse.
SUSAN PATEL CHO, MANAGING PARTNER EcoGreenHotel - has six years of financial analysis experience ranging from real estate investments to derivatives. She graduated from Rutgers University majoring in Economics. Prior to Patel’s real estate experience at Promark Global Advisors (formerly known as General Motors Asset Management), she has worked for a diverse range of organizations including a small private equity firm focused on 80% hotel investments, Merrill Lynch, MetLife Investments managing $1 million in foreign exchanges within one year and setting higher standards, and last but not least 10 years of retail business management. Her ambition has driven her to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in the real estate market, international economic development and sustainability.
BOB RYAN, VICE PRESIDENT of Sales EcoGreenHotel - 25 years of sales and sales management experience. Most recently, he was a regional sales director for Buy Efficient, a web-based purchasing management system for the hospitality industry. Ryan was formerly the publisher of LODGING, the official publication of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA). While at LODGING, he was a member of AH&LA’s Allied Executive Committee, which helped bring suppliers and hoteliers together. Prior to LODGING, Mr. Ryan was advertising director for the Ritz Carlton magazine, and worked on publications that served the airline, travel, and food industries. Additionally, Mr. Ryan spent 10 years leading the sales and marketing efforts for Spectrachem, a textile printing ink company, and was integral in that company’s decision to eliminate all solvent based manufacturing and to develop an all water based product line.
JEFF KEIC LEED AP, EcoGreenHotel - is a veteran in the environmental service industry. His experience includes engineering building assessments, building and operational sustainability audits, and environmental site assessments. He has project experience in a range of property types including industrial, multi-family residential and commercial. As Sustainability Director for Deep Ellum, a historic arts and entertainment neighborhood in Dallas, Kiec is responsible for educating and working with neighborhood businesses and property owners to incorporate sustainable building technologies. Kiec is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED-Accredited Professional and has earned Building Operator Certification from the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. He has also completed hazardous waste worker training sponsored by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. He is particularly proficient in finding local, state and government programs that offer credits and rebates available to owners, developers and operators of hotels.
PIERRE DAIGNEAULT, PRESIDENT/CEO Bleusphair Environment - has been in the sustainability consulting field focusing on environmental and carbon market business for the past three years at Bleusphair Environment. Prior to that, Daigneault’s experience ranges from working as an attorney specializing in real estate transactions and financing as well as corporate law to owning and managing several business including an investment and real estate brokerage firm to forming, marketing and managing several public limited partnerships. For over 10 years, he has also owned, developed, built and managed several restaurants and hotels located throughout America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, China and Egypt.
TIM BROCK, PRESIDENT/CEO AES - has been in the energy performance services field for over 13 years. Prior to that, he had more than 21 years experience in the building controls industry. Tim's experience includes ownership of The Conservation Group (TCG), a utility-based performance services company that held partnerships with both Custom Energy (a subsidiary of Kansas City Power & Light) and Coneco Corporation (TCG/Coneco). Tim then branched off to form Atlantic Energy, a non-utility based performance services company. Tim is also on the Board of Directors for NAESCO.
GREG ROYER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE AES - Mr. Royer has over 7 years experience developing large energy related construction projects. Mr. Royer's experience with project development includes the Hopatcong Public Schools $1.8 million performance project, Fortitech, Inc, and Fonda-Fultonville CSD to name a few. He has successfully developed numerous energy and technology related energy projects for both private and public facilities throughout New York, and New Jersey. With a background in network engineering Mr. Royer found the energy field to be a new and exciting area to explore. Quickly delving into all aspects of the business, Mr. Royer became extremely knowledgeable with, development, engineering, finance, build and all aspects associated with energy conservation.
AHMED HASSAN, SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AES - Mr. Ahmed Hassan has 3 years of experience in the field of energy conservation and the development of Energy Performance Projects. His role begins with the Development and implementation of a marketing plan in order to achieve Demand Side Management (DSM) savings targets for Atlantic Energy accounts; utilize as appropriate, face-to-face and other targeted communications with customers, project expeditors, consultants, and vendor allies. Develop preliminary project feasibility study and communicate finding to clients along with contract agreements. Manage the project team in the development of a Detailed Energy Audit and access detailed finding in respect to financial feasibility and ROI scenarios. Use economic analysis strategies to analyze different financial schemes and accounting for Economic variations and inflation, and develop successful financing strategies to best fit client needs and budget. Account for Capital Investments as possible leverage possibilities to best fit Atlantic Energy client needs. Furthermore, maintain and share expertise with all major prescriptive end-users targeted through the programs and finally actively represent the company in various national, regional, and professional organizations.
PAUL ZEH, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AES - Comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He graduated from Oswego University with a Bachelor of Science. Majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Economics. Prior to joining Atlantic Energy, Mr. Zeh held various financial management and sales positions including Regional Vice President . Prior experience for banks such as Wells Fargo, Capital One, and AmeriCredit. Mr. Zeh's role with Atlantic Energy will be to develop and implement a marketing plan for his area. He will have direct communication with potential clients, project expeditors, consultants, and vendors. Mr. Zeh will be responsible for developing preliminary project feasibility studies and communicate findings as well as contract agreements to clients.
MARK HAHN, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AES - Mr. Hahn brings a depth of business and financial experience to his role in business development at Atlantic Energy Solutions. He studied renewable energy, with an emphasis on solar and thermal efficiency, earning degrees in environmental science and business. He designed and built one of the first solar heated structures in New Jersey. Prior to joining Atlantic Energy Solutions, Mr. Hahn worked in corporate finance for a successful private manufacturing company, founded a startup venture, beginning his career selling custom technical products. As an advocate for efficiency and good stewardship of our resources, he is committed to bring innovative and cost effective solutions to corporate, healthcare, educational, institutional and municipal entities, combining energy conservation measures with the cutting edge use of renewable energy sources. Through a collaborative process with facility managers, architects, engineers, technology specialists, financial experts and legal counsel, Mr. Hahn will assist facility owners and boards to conduct energy audits, develop project scope, arrange financing and incentives, communicate results to constituents and consummate energy performance contracts.
TIM CASABONNE, OPERATIONS MANAGER AES - has over fourteen years experience coordinating large construction projects. Tim's experience with project management includes the Moriah UFSDs $1.9 million performance project and $8 million capital construction project. He has successfully managed numerous multi-technology energy projects for both private and public facilities throughout New York, Massachusetts and Michigan. Tim will be the Project Manager for your project, responsible for all daily aspects of the job including at least weekly site visits.
BILL MARZANO, DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING P.E. C.E.M AES - has over 14 years of experience with commercial and industrial energy auditing and development of comprehensive energy performance contracts. His specific expertise and experience ranges from the project capture phase through the design phase, including the development of technical aspects for proposals, scopes of work, operational intent documents, design intent documents, commissioning plans, measurement and verification plans, and investment grade audits. He is a Professional Engineer, licensed in New York State, who also holds credentials as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) through the Association of Energy Engineers. Bill will be responsible for preparing the Detailed Energy Audit for your project as well as providing all engineering support throughout the process.
DR. MICHAEL STILES, SENIOR ENERGY MANAGER, PhD, CEM AES - has 16 years of experience with commercial, residential, and industrial energy auditing and design. His expertise ranges from audit development through implementation and verification of conservation measures. Supporting this expertise is his experience with technical proposals, field crews, design intent documents, technical planning, and reporting. He holds three US patents in the field of solar energy and is the originator of multiple energy-related techniques and devices including building controls, indoor environmental control systems, and analysis models.
JULIE MILLER, ENERGY ENGINEER AES - has more than five years of experience in the energy conservation business. Julie has varied experience in both the utility environment and the private sector of the business. Julie is also responsible for the completion and coordination of all NYSERDA grant paperwork as well the Monitoring and Verification phase of the projects. Julie will be available for engineering support throughout your project as well as be responsible for Monitoring and Verification after construction is complete.
TERI RENNIE, ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR, PHR AES - Ms. Rennie has 8 years of Human Resources and Payroll background with several industry types. Her position prior to Atlantic Energy was as a Human Resources Consultant working with 40-50 small business clients. She focused on training owners and management how to strategize on growing their business while utilizing their employees resources. She is versed in benefits, employee relations, training and payroll. Her role with Atlantic Energy is to aid in streamlining administrative processes for the company. The company expects to rapidly grow its revenue and staff and wants to be fully prepared in its standard procedures.
ERIN BROCK, OFFICE MANAGER AES - Erin's duties include managing and coordinating all day-today activities of the office, and performing administrative duties for all staff. Responsibilities may include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and financial data, training and supervising other support staff and customer relations. As the job calls for it Erin has strong computer and internet research skills. Some of her traits include flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
